TIMES PAY/HR 8.0 (SQL Client-Server version)

TIMES PAY/HR 8.0 is a Client-Server based payroll and HR software from TIMES SOFTWARE PTE LTD. Using the famous database engine – Advantage Database Server from Extended Systems is Times choice of database for this system. It has also been awarded the Best database engine from Borland Delphi Readers Choice for many years – 2001& 2002.

There are two choices in the new database, which are Advantage Database Server and Advantage Local Server.

Advantage Database Server
The Advantage Database Server is a scalable, high performance client-server RDBMS for networked, standalone, Internet and mobile database applications. The Advantage Database Server supports the Novell NetWare, Windows 7, 8,10/ windows sever 2003, 2008 and 2012 operating systems.

Advantage Local Server
The Advantage Local Server is a non-client/server solution that does not run the Advantage Database Server, but it provides a smaller memory and distribution footprint, as well as improved and added functionality. The Advantage Local Server can be distributed royalty-free when accessing files located on a local workstation drive or on a network drive.

TIMES MERGE
TIMES MERGE allows the user to merge two different databases to a single database. For example, a management database and non-management database can be merge into a company database consisting of management information and non-management information. This will be very useful when consolidating reports for management review.

TIMES GENERAL LEDGER (GL) INTERFACE
TIMES GENERAL LEDGER INTERFACE allows user to define all GL Accounts codes and description. It provides users to define all debit & credit items according to user references. The system will generate GL reports and downloadable ASCII file for users to import to their Accounting System (format differs from system to system).

TIMES E-LEAVE TRANSFER
TIMES ELEAVE Transfer program can be used to download the latest leave records from E-Leave Server if these two databases are sitting on different computers. All the latest records updated by employees through the E-Leave system will be pulled down to Payroll Database for payroll processing purposes. No Pay Leave, Absent Leave and No Pay Leave (Hour) will be deducted from the employee monthly payroll when the Leave Transfer Module is initialized.

TIMES CLAIM INTERFACE
TIMES CLAIM INTERFACE allow the user transfer an external claim file (Normal Text Format) to the Payroll Database. All the records in the Interface file will be transferred into the employees’ Allowance/Deduction Table. Execution of the CLAIM INTERFACE program is usually done after the final amendment to the database. This Interface program will recalculate the CPF Wages based on the employee details after the transfer is completed.

TIMES CUSTOMIZED PAYSLIP is a specially designed payslip for companies using the dot-matrix printer. Companies who prefer to see a graphical company logo in the payslip compare to the normal plain payslip will need to use this program.
